Your personal trainer will be John Harrison, he has had 38 years within the health & martial arts industry. He started his journey when he was 15 training in Shotokan karate by the age of 17 he started to weight train to improve his strength after seeing a article by Dave Lea in a martial arts magazine on weight training and martial arts. After a couple of months of weight training he was hooked. After the club disbanded he went full time into body building but it got serious when he joined Tom's gym in St Helens winning many body building titles. After opening his own Gym in Rainford, St Helens in 1993 he had a spell powerlifting but by 1996 he was starting to miss the fighting arts so he went back to Karate after a couple of months of training a friend ask him to go along to a muay thai class he was attending, he loved it and the functionality of it and never looked back adding Judo to the mix in 2003 and vale tudo shortly after traveling over to Manchester. Over the last 24 years he has trained in muay thai, judo, vale tudo, bjj, combat ju jitsu & karate and holds 3 Dan grades [ Black belt equivalent] and a brown belt in these disciplines & he is also a qualified personal trainer. In 2013 he opened his first combat gym, St Helens combat club which he ran at 3 venues in St Helens, Ashton in Makerfield & Haydock. Within that time he spent 24 year's working doors as a Doorman all over the North West working from Liverpool to the famous Wigan pier Venue Starting back in 1987 when doorman were doorman.


Thai boxing 1-2-1 £15 per hour.

Group sessions 2 or more £ 7.50 each.

Matted area with hook and uppercut pad, pear shape bag, body bag and uppercut bag.

Completely matted floor and walls with a full range of pads, thai pads, mitts and belly pads.
